Hey guys, I had a few things I thought we could discuss. By the way, great job Daniel. I was thinking we should start things off slower, instead of having the full blown Zombie Apocalypse in progress already, we could start by introducing our characters as the events begin to occur. Then we can keep building on that. Also are we going to make it worldwide or in one town? Just some thoughts, but I think this is going to be great!

Okies: I agree with the slow introduction idea. If we have full-blown apocalypse right away, there's less time to hide out in safehouses and whatnot, shorter time for the 'cure' to be discovered (if the 'cure' is going to exist at all) and if there is some sort of 'cure' the plotline's pretty much over after that. Zombies have no excuse. And I don't think it should be limited to one town. An easy answer would be: just get out of town. If people want it to be more localised then we could keep it to the northern states, or maybe have a slow progress to Canada and the rest of the US, and then gradually the whole continent, and then the whole world. Orr.... have it to the northern states for now, force them into quarantine so it looks like the characters are all gonna die, and then have something breach the quarantine to infect zee whole world. I'm just firing off ideas here, seeing if something sticks.

Sorry forgot to reply in here. The main plan here is to starting off in one town, then expand to the rest of the US states etc. But at the moment it's in just this one town because not everyone is aware of it. Once more and more people become aware of the outbreak, that's when we take it to the other regions. Again we're just off to slow start right now.
By the way, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Thankyou very muchly. So how're we planning to intertwine all these separate characters then? Or are we just posting and hoping for the best?

Well since it's the beginning of the viral spread, me and Michael will organize ways to get our characters to meet up. Once it's already in progress we'll just improvise to add other characters in the story, but that's later. Just wait in just a bit when I post my RP, I'll show you an example of how my character will meet up with Michael's character.
If you have any other questions, you can contact me at djdaniel_15@hotmail.com or just keep posting here, as you wish lol.

By the way Erin, I like your writing style. That's the kind of thing we're looking for. We don't wanna downplay anyone, but we want things to be well thought out, and intelligible. We actually tried to design Brenshaw as the one place where this sort of thing would do major damage. It's supposed to be pretty isolated, and I figured by the time people realize what's going on we'd have the town quarantined. I'm not really sure if this is "ground zero" but the idea was to have things end up worldwide. Hopefully, we'll soon have some kind of map to illustrate just where locations are from one another and all. We are also in the process of doing some advertising. Just out of curiosity how did you find us?

Cool, well at any rate, I've noticed everytime I'm on that you have also been on. You log in pretty frequently and I promise we are trying to get everything up and running. I hope you'll bear with us and stick around.

I've noticed in the thread between you two, that both people keep controlling each other's characters in their posts. Is this just to get the plot rolling or is powerplaying accepted here? Because I'm not exactly a fan of it...

Nah, me and Daniel are planning it out. We're friends and all, we're working together on it. That's why we haven't involved ourselves in yours or Eric's posts. We are gonna try to create some other charrys. Ones that can be killed off later, lol.

Oh no, as long you have permission from the other handler, you are allowed to use their character (not complete control over their actions though, just to progress the story). But in general, power playing will not be tolerated when used in drastic measures.
